The Band Toto Asia
Toto expanded its production facilities abroad, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. 스포츠토토 was seen as a market that would grow for bidet and washlet toilet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto was documenting Toto words to ensure that the next generation would be able to read the words. Many words were replaced by foreign ones. For example, dui, which is Bengali for verandah, was used.
Origins
Incorporated in 1917, Toto's early years mirrored Japan's economic development. In the beginning, Toto produced products to meet the growing demand for modern, contemporary urban housing. It was the first tunnel kilns in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use automation to control production, which allows for greater efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding overseas in the late 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. It established the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products from other manufacturers to complement its own line of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy boosted sales and expanded the firm's market share in the world.
In the 1990s, Toto began focusing on research and development of water-related appliances. It also improved its distribution system to better serve the needs of customers and boost profits. The company employed the same just-in-time approach to its supply chain management as well as sales program. This resulted in a greater level of customer satisfaction.
Toto has continued to innovate with regard to toilet technology. Its latest toilet, for instance is equipped with a strong tornado flush that is more ecologically green than traditional toilets. The company uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and also has a green purchasing policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets, as well as hand dryers that are more efficient in energy use than conventional models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It hosts exhibits on Toto’s seminal products as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are ceramics), the history of plumbing and other products like bath units. They also played on records by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name as evocative as Asia you'd think that the group would be prog queens and kings - but it's actually a pretty straight forward rock band. The group began as a group and recorded two albums: 1979's self titled debut, and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a diverse musical background, but their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, however it did not come without its share of issues. The record companies put the band under pressure to release an album that was a success or else they would pull them. Luckily for Toto they did, with the assistance of the smash single "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is due to their previous experience, as the band members had been session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior to forming the group. Their distinctive sound has become the standard of 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.
The album opens with a strong and pounding sound with songs like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write great AOR songs that slowly build their hooks into your mind. The album also includes some more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song blends folk and the distorted AOR that could sound completely wrong but actually works extremely well.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes began to wane. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band had to go through several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in after he was charged with drug abuse. the group continued to perform as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Toto released Isolation despite the turmoil. It wasn't as popular as IV. The band managed to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked a return to the classic sextet style of previous albums. It was a more ferocious, consistent effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. Its edgier sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's increased virtuosity on drums, and a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work was more precise, sharper and less cloying than previously recorded performances.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded an Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The group released a brand new studio album a few months later and embarked on a world tour help promote it. In this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.

In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old demo tapes and tapes to make a new record featuring songs that were never recorded before. It was completed as a double-album titled Then and Now in 2001. It was the first album in the history of the band not to feature any single song that had the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously not released track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and the vocalist Williams was suffering from a severe laryngitis infection that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the founding members of Asia, met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe who was occupied with Yes during that period, was later renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also featured an appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
